Piney Flats is located in Northeast Tennessee, between Johnson City, TN and Bristol TN/VA. The PFVFD is totally volunteer. The PFVFD is made up entirely of volunteers. At this time we have 25 active firefighters. We cover an area of over 40 square miles which includes residential, industrial, business, railways and hundreds of miles of roadway.
All firefighters are certified by the State of Tennessee with an array of certifications.
